The 218th General Assembly distributed recommended changes to the constitution (Book of Order) to all Presbyteries of the PC(USA) for either affirmative or negative votes. These proposed amendments can be viewed or downloaded at http://www.pcusa.org/generalassembly/amend/proposed-amendments-2008.pdf At its regular stated meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2009, held at First Presbyterian Church, Mexico, MO, Missouri Union Presbytery voted on to approve all proposed amendments, except 08-B, amending the ordination standards for church officers.
