The Center for Lifelong Learning at Columbia Theological Seminary is accepting applications for the Rural Ministry Fellowship.  The Center will offer a year-long fellowship to a pastor or commissioned lay pastor serving a congregation in a rural setting. The Rural Ministry Fellowship begins in January 2009 and will provide the fellowship recipient with financial support to attend several Lifelong Learning events at Columbia, including a “Strengthening Rural Ministry Conference” to be held at Columbia in September 2009. he Rural Ministry Fellowship and the Conference are funded by generous gifts from individuals and congregations. These gifts also provide scholarships for 12 individuals from among the fellowship applicants.  

 

 

This was first distributed on 9/19/08.  Despite numerous initial inquiries, no completed applications have been received.  The deadline is Nov. 3.
