Agape House Ministry

Graduation time is here, a time for new beginnings.  Each week many offenders complete their sentences in Missouri correctional centers; they also make new beginnings.  Research shows that those who have maintained contact with families make a smoother transition to society.  In an effort to make family contact with offenders easier and more affordable, Agape House of Vandalia stands ready to provide overnight accommodations. We thank you for your part in this mission.
Donations requested for May: breakfast bars, juice boxes and cocoa mix.
Agape House in Vandalia is a ministry supported by the Criminial Justice Mission Team of Missouri Union Presbytery.

God’s Call in Missouri Union-Presbytery Highlights

(Tues, May 25, 2010) God’s call for our lives was apparent and celebrated on this beautiful day in Columbia MO.   Elder Joan Erickson was welcomed as our new General Presbyter.  Dana Slavin and Miranda Trussell were accepted into membership for ordination/installation.  We prayed for 2010 Camp staff and Youth Triennium Delegation.  We learned about new technology available to sessions and congregations.  Most importantly, we worshipped God, laughed and sang together.  We are excited to be called to serve such a wonderful God!
