Calvin Hesse Progressing

Rev. Francis Derick

Rev. Francis M. Derick, retired pastor of Antioch, Concord and Providence Churches, who now lives in Aurora, CO with his daughter Darlene Ward, turned 98 years young in Sept 2008.  Read more »


Pray for Laura Turpin-Antioch PC

Please pray for Laura Turpin, who fell while getting into a car on Thursday, June 4. She was airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, but doctors are uncertain what actually caused her fall. Heart problems are indicated and Laura is anemic at this time.  She may stay with her granddaughter in the St. Louis area as doctors decide on the best treatment. Please pray for her recovery and that medical personnel can effectively diagnosis and treat her. Laura is a member of Antioch Presbyterian in Bowling Green and the widow of the late R.B. Turpin, a past Moderator of Missouri Union Presbytery.  Bess Gamm


FPC Columbia Expands

New opportunities for ministry made possible by the renovation at First Presbyterian – Columbia were celebrated the weekend of May 29-31, 2009.  During worship on Sunday, May 31, confirmands were received into membership and ALL present participated in dedicating the new Welcome Center at First Presbyterian to the glory and service of God.  Read more »
