Bob Collins Memorial Service 2/8/09
All members of Missouri Union Presbytery are invited to a Memorial Service to celebrate the life and ministry of the Rev. Robert R. Collins on Sunday, February 8 at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Mexico. A fellowship time will follow the worship service. The church is located at 400 Lakeview Road and Business 54 South in Mexico, MO 65265. Bob Collins, who retired after 32 years of ministry at the Mexico Presbyterian Church in 1990, went to be with our Lord today about noon. He had been in failing health since Christmas. Services at First Presbyterian Church, Black Mountain, North Carolina will be at 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, Jan 15, 2009. Bob touched so many in Missouri Union and changed my life by bringing me here and being a mentor to me. God’s blessings be with his wife Jane, children Steve, Tim, and Laura and their families.
