New DMin Focus@Columbia Seminary

(Nov 25, 2008) Columbia Theological Seminary is now accepting applications for a Doctor of Ministry Program with an emphasis in “Church Planting and Congregational Transformation.”  CTS is moving from their previous New Church Development Program to emphasize missional church planting.  This emphasis will equip pastors to lead worship and mission so that others may more readily encounter Jesus Christ in the post-modern world. A primary focus will be transforming existing congregations for God’s mission in today’s world.  Steve Hayner, Peachtree Professor of Evangelism, and Ray Jones, founding pastor of Macland PC in metro Atlanta, will present two courses for the foundation of this 36-hour, 4-year, part-time academic program.
