(Nov. 15, 2008) Thank You to all who brought gifts for PATCH to Presbytery today. Christmas came early for the children served by this program! PATCH is a ministry helping incarcerated mothers keep in contact with their children. Special thanks to Jane V. from First Presbyterian-Brookfield, who transported all the gifts to Colleen Scott, the PATCH Coordinator, who will in turn get them to Chillicothe. (Previous post) Bring or send an unwrapped gift to Trinity Presbyterian for the Nov 15 Presbytery meeting. The MUP Criminal Justice Mission Team will deliver the gifts to PATCH at the Women’s Prison at Chillicothe. The PATCH Program nurtures the bond between mothers and children while moms are incarcerated. Your donation allows PATCH to provide moms with a something to share with their children at the Christmas party. The Criminal Justice Mission Team asks for your prayers that God’s life-changing grace will be evident through this ministry.
