SIGN UP NOW FOR A TRIP THAT WILL CHANGE THE WAY YOU SEE THE WORLD! FPC, Jeff City is sponsoring a Mission/Work Trip to the Amazon region of Peru on July 24 through Aug 1, 2009. Registration deadline (with $200 deposit) is due by Jan 31, 2009. Cost for the 9-day trip: approximately $2500. This is the 7th trip to the Amazon region of Peru by members of First-Jeff City, and the 9th for group leader, Pastor Henry. Working with Medical Missions, Inc. and the Amazon Mission Fellowship, “the Peru Crew” will work side-by-side with Peruvian Presbyterians on building projects in the village of Tamshiyacu. Team members will worship and join in Bible Study with Pastor Ricardo Jara and the Tamshiyacu congregation, lead a VBS for children of the village, and interact with our sisters and brothers in Christ, forming relationships to last a lifetime. Those with medical skills will have opportunities to work in the medical clinic in Tamshiyacu.
