(Alexandria, MO–Friday, June 20 12:00 PM) Waiting for big pumps from Corps of Engineers. IF – big IF – they arrive this afternoon, and IF – big IF – things continue as they are – maybe people can start coming back into Alexandria by next Wednesday or Thursday. City is covered with slimy gunk as seepage continues. Still hoping to avoid major damages. –David Castrodale
