Suggested Remuneration Guidelines for Pulpit Supply in Missouri Union Presbytery
(Guidelines reviewed and approved by Committee on Ministry on January 16, 2007–mileage changes effective for calendar year 2008.)
PULPIT SUPPLY HONORARIUM
1. Preaching on the same day:
One Service: $ 75
Two Services: $ 115
Three Services: $ 165
2. REIMBERSEMENT FOR MILEAGE to preach at the current (2007) IRS rate: $ 0.505/mile
3. EXPENSES – as vouchered
One meal at $10 (if travel one way is over 50 miles.)
Two meals $20 (if travel one way is over 100 mile.)
If services begin early and one-way travel is over 100 miles, overnight housing should be provided.
Suggested Honorarium for clergy to moderate Session or congregational meeting is $40.00, plus travel at the IRS rate of $0.505/mile.
Note: Remuneration is expected at the time of the service.
